WP Site Guardian Review And Bonus Security E-Book
Unfortunately, I learned about WP Site Guardian way back around Thanksgiving of 2015. I had a client who was on GoDaddy shared hosting and got the “red screen of death” warning me that the site was infected. I thought I didn't have anything to worry about because “I have a Mac and Macs don't get viruses“, ignored the warnings and went to the wp-admin.
I figured it would be pretty easy to take a look and I could find that file that was causing the problems. The client didn't update her site very much; I could get a backup from the week before. I figured that would restore it from a time before the site was infected and that would be it.
I dropped some cash on the premium version of Wordfence, and that didn't stop the attacks at all. I tried to get some support from GoDaddy and well…it was GoDaddy.
The next day I noticed my computer was starting to slow down and started crashing all the time. I am pretty Good with computers, so on the terminal and tried to kill any processes I didn't recognize. So many random functions it almost resembled a DOS attack. So I decided to turn off the wireless….

And they still kept coming. If you want to read the extended version of the story, click here.
in the meantime, I had to appease my client, so I tried all of the following methods to get rid of the thing to no avail:
All-In-One Security Plugin
Better WP Security Plugin
iThemes Security Plugin
That's when I got turned on to WP Site Guardian and what makes it superior to its competitors because it can recognize and deal with exploits, which is the most common for of attack. It's just as simple as the hacker coming in and injecting the code in the comments.
Is Norton Not Cutting It?
Where most security plugins work off of a list of known exploits, WP Site Guardian can recognize “attack signatures,” would block the hacker by IP address and will notify by email about where the site was compromised, this gives you the time to locate that poorly coded plugin or theme.
When suspicious activity detected the IP blocked & the hacker is banned, preventing the exploit from executing & also shuts down all further hacking attempts.
Now There In The Ultimate Anti-Virus Solution
WP Site Guardian is the 1st pro-active anti-exploit plugin that monitors & blocks hackers based on behavior.
Blocks XSS, SQL, Header & Directory Exploits
Simple 2 Click Setup
Auto-Blocks Attacks by User Behaviour
Get Instant Hacking Alerts
Compatible WP 4.x
The only downside of is they will try to get you into a sales funnel of stuff you don't need or that is freely available.
$37 for $100 is more than most people even need.
